Centre for Scientific Research on Vedic Science
Researching the scientific, philosophical and cultural dimensions of Vedic knowledge — with care for the texts, honesty about evidence, and respect for the living traditions that carried this knowledge to us.
Who we are
The Centre is the research home of Vedicsiddhanta. It brings together scholars, practitioners and students who study the Vedic sciences with care for the texts, honesty about evidence, and respect for the living traditions that carried this knowledge to us.
Vedicsiddhanta has published research and commentary since 2009, and The Divine Codes — An Untimely Journal of Timely Matters has carried the work of many authors since 2015. The Centre gives that work a permanent structure: named scholars, open publications, clear standards and an honest review process.
Our mission
Preserve
Study, translate and annotate the classical texts of Jyotiṣa, Vāstu, Āyurveda and allied śāstras, and keep their lineages of interpretation visible.
Examine
Test traditional principles carefully, record observations against stated predictions, and publish what we find — including what does not hold.
Share
Publish freely, explain clearly, and make serious Vedic scholarship available to readers everywhere.

How we work
-
Text first
Every claim names its source — text, verse, edition or commentary — so readers can check it.
-
Interpretation is labelled
We separate what a text says, how a tradition reads it, and what an author concludes.
-
Predictions are recorded before the event
Forecasts carry a publication date, and we revisit them openly afterwards.
-
Review before publication
Research papers are read by the editorial team, and by an independent reviewer where the subject needs one.
-
Recognition is earned
Designations such as Research Fellow are granted only through review. They cannot be bought.
Scholars and Researcher IDs
Every scholar of the Centre holds a permanent Researcher ID, for example VS-PA-0001. The ID links their profile, publications and affiliation, and anyone can confirm it on our Verify page.
Read the Scholar & Fellowship Programme to apply, and our Research & Publication Ethics for the standards every scholar follows.
The Centre and Vedicsiddhanta.in
The Research Centre decides
- Who is recognised as a scholar, and at what designation
- What is published, after review
- The research and publication standards behind both
Vedicsiddhanta.in offers
- Consultations, courses and webinars
- Books, publications and spiritual products
- A separate place for scholars' professional services
Some scholars also offer professional services on Vedicsiddhanta.in. Those services are separate from their research affiliation, and booking one never affects a scholar's standing with the Centre.
