Foundation Course in Vedic Astrology
Most modern courses teach Jyotiṣa as a checklist of techniques. Praveśikā teaches it as a Vedāṅga — a limb of the Veda — with its philosophy, astronomy and devotional ground intact, so that what you learn holds together.
Each month builds on the last. You start with the sky itself, meet the nine grahas and the twelve houses, learn to cast and read a chart, then time events with Vimśottarī Daśā and transits. No prior knowledge of astrology or Sanskrit is needed.

- Two instalments: 60% at enrolment, 40% before Month 3.

Refund & withdrawal
- Full refund (minus 5% processing) if you withdraw before the first class.
- 50% refund if you withdraw within 7 days of the course starting.
- After the second weekend: no refund, but you may move once to the next batch.
- Recordings stay available up to the point you have paid for.
- The seat can be transferred to a family member with prior notice.
- If we postpone a batch, your full fee carries over.
Learn from the Founder
Rocky Jamwal
Rocky Jamwal has practised and taught Vedic Jyotiṣa for over 25 years and has run VedicSiddhanta.in since 2009. His work spans client consultation, original research and teaching, and he leads the Centre for Scientific Research on Vedic Science.
His areas of practice include Praśna, Nāḍī astrology, the KP system, the Jaimini Sūtras, Medinī (mundane) Jyotiṣa, Vāstu and Tantric sādhana — taught with the classical texts open and real charts on the screen.

Before You Enrol
I am a complete beginner. Will I keep up?
Yes. Praveśikā assumes no knowledge of astrology, Sanskrit or astronomy. Every term is introduced from first principles and each month builds on the last. Regular attendance matters more than background.
What language are classes in?
English, with Hindi explanations where they help. Sanskrit terms are taught in both IAST and Devanāgarī, so you can follow without knowing Hindi.
What if I miss a class?
Every class is recorded and uploaded within 24 hours — available for 9 months on Śiṣya and for life on Sādhaka and Ācārya Track.
Can I consult professionally after this course?
Praveśikā makes you a confident chart reader. For professional practice we recommend continuing to Madhyamā and Pāraṅgata; the Ācārya Track includes direct entry to Madhyamā.
What software do I need?
Zoom for classes and free chart software such as Jagannātha Horā (Windows) or Maitreya. We set it up together in Month 1.
Is there a scholarship?
A few need-based part scholarships are kept for every batch — for students, single parents and traditional paṇḍit families. Write to us with a short note.
