KALA SARPA YOGA & EDUCATION AS PER NADI ASTROLOGY
ॐ श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः
With the Blessings of Acharya Madhva,my Kula Devatha,my Ishta Devatha and my Nadi Guru Shri R.G.Rao,I would like to explain about Kala Sarpa Yoga & education in Nadi Astrology.
We know as per traditional Astrology,Kala Sarpa Yoga is formed by the placement of all planets within Rahu-Ketu axis. Some scholars mention about 12 types of Kala Sarpa Yoga based on different positions of Kala Sarpa Yoga from Lagna. In some books it is mentioned that if Rahu /Ketu is placed with 5th/9th house lord or with Kendra Lords, then it gives sudden Raja Yoga during the Dasa/Antar Dasa of such planets.Except this condition, other placements of planets within Rahu-Ketu axis are termed as bad with difficulties in life.In such ancient books,it is also mentioned that if all the planets are within Rahu-Ketu axis then it is called as Kala Sarpa Yoga and if all the planets are within Ketu-Rahu axis, then it is called as Kalamrita Yoga.Anyhow both Yogas are termed bad and the native will experience difficulties in his/her life. But if any one planet has more longitude than Rahu/Ketu ,then it breaks Kala Sarpa Yoga.
But in Rao’s system of Nadi Astrology,we are not considering any Lagna.Instead we consider all the planets within Rahu-Ketu or Ketu-Rahu axis for Kala Sarpa Yoga. But to have such kind of Kala Sarpa Yoga, the planets must be related to Rahu or Ketu ie.,from Rahu, there must be a planet in the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th 7th from him.Similar is the case from Ketu also.
Now I was doing some research on this from past 15 years and about 13 years before I got a client and she wants her son’s education line has to be analysed she sent an email regarding this on March,6th,2006.When my client called me for this analysis, her son was studying in 6th standard. But when I saw his chart,I got surprised as all the planets are hemmed between Ketu-Rahu axis but I found the most important planets Jiva Karaka,Atma Karaka and Karma Karaka are in such a strong place, nothing bad will happen to him in his education or his future life ,rather he will get reward during his studies.
Now let us study his chart in detail. This is a male chart and was born in a western country. Now look at the Rahu-Ketu axis, and there are no planets at all and all the planets are within Ketu-Rahu axis.Even Chandra who is with Rahu is in the clutches of Rahu.

Kaal sarpa Kala Sarpa Yoga & Education as per nadi astrology

As both Ketu and Rahu are retrograding, from Ketu, the 2nd house is occupied by Shani and Shukra in Kumbha Rashi,Kuja and Budha ( R ) is Makara Rashi,Surya + Guru in Dhanu Rashi in 4th house from Ketu and finally Chandra in 7th house from Ketu.Let me keep the Jiva Karaka Guru aside and analyse from Rahu.Rahu is with Chandra, the Karaka for mother.Rahu is in trine to Vidya Karaka Budha ( R ) and Kuja, the Karaka for skills. Also from Ketu, both Budha ( R ) and Kuja are in 11th house. When Ketu is involved with Karaka for education,it is directly related to hospital as Ketu is in 12th house if we consider natural zodiac. Now both Dhanu Rashi and Meena Rashi are lorded by Guru and he is placed in his Moola Trikona Sthana of Guru along with Surya. So here Surya also becomes more stronger by associating with Guru and both will have a connection with Ketu. This is simply because both Rashis are lorded by Guru,so Surya + Guru + Ketu are in conjunction. Now Rahu with Chandra are in trine to Kuja + Budha (R) in Makara Rashi. Now Chandra is blood circulation,Rahu is poisonous medicines ( which we call as allopathic medicines ) ,Kuja is blood ,Shastra Karaka and skills through the hands and,Budha, the intelligence. Here as Budha ( R) is aspecting its previous house of Dhanu Rashi he becomes associated with both Surya + Guru. Thus Budha ( R) becomes more stronger. So I predicted to his mother that he will study medicines but he will move towards East or South-East from where he is born.I also told his mother that he is a genius boy and will get rewards during his studies. As the planets involved are mainly Surya + Guru  ( East direction ) and Kuja + Budha ( R) ( South direction ) and as all these planets are within Ketu-Rahu axis,he will move out of the country where he is born and move to a country where Sanatana Dharma is in existence which is none other than our Hindustan. His mother got surprised and said to me that they don’t have any plan to migrate back to India. But I said after looking to the planetary transits, all will move to India and he will study in India only.
Ketu is the planet representing hospitals placed in Meena Rashi which is also called as Devaloka whose Lord Guru is in his Moola Trikona Rashi of Dhanu. With Guru, there is Surya and Budha ( R) in Makara Rashi whom we have to consider from his previous house of Dhanu Rashi. So he has a combination of Guru + Surya+ Budha ( R ) + Ketu. This kind of planetary combination indicates a Vedic place which is India itself. There are no planets in Rahu-Ketu axis which clearly tells us that the native will move out of his birth country when progressed Jiva Karaka Guru touches Rahu + Chandra which was his 10-11th year and it was decided by the fate to contact me to do the analysis of this native boy.It was 31st of May 2006 and she called me when I was in Kuwait, that they are moving back to India and also to Bangalore.Let us look at the planetary configurations on this day.
Now look at the transit Rahu-Ketu axis.Rahu was in Meena Rashi and Ketu was in Kanya Rashi which is just opposite in his natal chart. In his natal chart,Jiva Karaka Guru + Pitru Karaka Surya are in Dhanu Rashi,so we can conclude that transit Rahu has a link with his natal Guru + Surya which clearly indicates that this male native along with his father will move to India. Also please look at the longitude of natal Jiva Karaka Guru which is Dhanu 8 Degrees 33’ and transit Rahu was at Meen Rashi 7 Degrees 3’,which means Rahu is forcing Jiva Karaka Guru to move from the place of birth. Also if we check his progressed Jiva Karaka Guru,it will be in Kanya Rashi and Chandra + Rahu are posited there.Chandra means movement and Rahu means foreign country,so a complete change of Rahu-Ketu alignment over his Chandra + Rahu indicates he will be migrated to India where Kanya Rashi indicates southern direction. His natal Rahu has a Drishti on Simha Rashi as he will be moving to his next Rashi and natal Guru + Surya are in trine to this east directioned Rashi. So it becomes South-East direction from where he was born.

transit chart Kala Sarpa Yoga & Education as per nadi astrology
After moving to India and Bangalore, the mother of the male native called me around 4 years before that as I predicted her son got admission into Medical sciences. She also told me that the CET board has given 3 options to choose the medical college. She asked me whether it is possible to predict to which medical college her son will join.I said “ the native’s Vidya Karaka Budha’s placement is in Makara Rashi 9 Degs.56’ along with exalted Kuja who is in Makara 10 Degs.21’But there is no Graha Yuddha as Budha is retrograde. This Budha ( R ) + Kuja are in trine to Chandra + Rahu in Kanya Rashi.Budha (R ) is connected to Dhanu Rashi where both Guru + Surya are placed. Also in Guru’s another Rashi of Meen, there is Ketu,so a combination of Guru + Surya +Budha ( R )+ Ketu has taken place. Now Ketu in Meen Rashi lorded by Guru indicates the institution must be a religious one and as Budha ( R ) with Guru + Surya are in Dhanu Rashi, the medical institute must have a statue of a Guru in front of the college. After this prediction, mother and son both went to all the 3 institutes and one institute called KEMS Medical College has the statue of Shri Raghavendra Swami Ji of Mantralaya and both were very happy about my analysis and took admission there and completed his medical studies. As Surya is very strong in the chart along with Guru in his Moola Trikona Sthana,I told his mother that your son is a genius one and will complete the studies before the time and he will be rewarded by a prestigious institution. When his 3rd year of Medical studies completed, the F.R.C.S in London invited him along with his parents for a special speech by the native. The professors and students there got stunned by his speech and awarded him with a special certificate and told that his M.D.studies will be sponsored by them if it is in London or anywhere in the world. So he completed his M.B.B.S.this year with a very high ranking.

Then he sit for the entrance exam.for M.D.Now recently his mother contacted me and asked me which kind of higher studies he can do and where ? Here is my analysis and answer. In the whole chart, both Guru and Surya are powerful and out of that Surya is most powerful and he is the karaka for children ( male ) and in opposite direction ( West ),there are Shukra + Shani. As Shukra is with Shani,Shukra becomes also very powerful as he is going to enter the Rashi of his exaltation. Shukra is the Karaka for female children. So I told the mother that her son will go for M.D. in Pediatrics and mother said as he got into Pediatrics. Now again the question of selection of Medical College. Here now both Guru +Surya+ Budha ( R ) are in east direction and both Shukra + Shani are in Kumbha Rashi in West Direction.Shukra indicates as per Sanskrit Kama and Shani indicates ancient and Surya indicates eyes.Ketu in linking with Shani indicates that the place where this native has to study is a very ancient one and a famous Kama + Akshi ie., Kamakshi Temple is there which is none other than Kanchipuram. His mother got completely surprised and asked me that such secrets also can be told as per Nadi Astrology and I replied yes but for that Tarka ( Logic ) and intuition from Ishta Devatha is required. So as per my analysis the male native is going to Kanchipuram Medical Institute for M.D.in Pediatrics.
The above is only a real life example to show that we can predict many secrets through Rao’s  System of Nadi Astrology.

BHAKTI YOGA AS PER NADI ASTROLOGY
       By H.Ramadas Rao
ॐ श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः
With the Blessings of my Kula Guru Acharya Madhva, my Kula Devatha, My Ishta Devatha and Nadi Guru Shri R.G.Rao,I am going to write about BHAKTI YOGA as per NADI ASTROLOGY principles. To explain this I have taken the chart of Shri Prabhupada.
What is Bhakti Yoga?
There is a small chapter stresses the super-excellence of the path of loving devotion over all other types of spiritual practices.  It begins with Arjun asking Shree Krishna whom He considers more perfect in Yog—those who are devoted to the personal form of God or those who worship the formless Brahman.  Shree Krishna responds by declaring that both paths lead to God-realization.  However, He regards the devotees of His personal form as the best yogis.  He explains that meditation on the impersonal unmanifest aspect of God is full of tribulations and is exceedingly difficult for embodied beings.  But devotees of the personal form, with their consciousness, merged in Him and all their actions dedicated to Him, are swiftly delivered from the cycle of life and death.  Shree Krishna thus asks Arjun to surrender his intellect to Him, and fix his mind in exclusive loving devotion on Him alone.
Below mentioned verse explained in chapter 12 clearly explains about it
Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12, Verse 3-4

Translation

BG 12.3-4: But those who worship the formless aspect of the Absolute Truth—the imperishable, the indefinable, the unmanifest, the all-pervading, the unthinkable, the unchanging, the eternal, and the immoveable—by restraining their senses and being even-minded everywhere, such persons, engaged in the welfare of all beings, also attain Me.

Commentary

Having said that worship of the personal form is the best, Shree Krishna clarifies that in no way does He reject the worship of the formless.  Those who devote themselves to the all-pervading, indefinable, unmanifest, inconceivable, immovable, eternal Brahman, also attain God.

Living beings are of an infinite variety of natures.  The Supreme Lord who has created this variety also possesses an infinite variety of aspects to His personality.  For the sake of our finite comprehension, we classify the infinite manifestations of God into categories.  Accordingly, Ved Vyas has classified God’s various manifestations into three types, Brahman, Paramātmā, andBhagavān, as mentioned in the commentary of the previous verse.  One may worship either of these categories, but one should never claim that one’s conception of God is the only correct one while those of the others are erroneous.

In verse 4.11, Shree Krishna had stated: “In whatever way people surrender unto Me, I reciprocate with them accordingly.  Everyone follows My path in all respects, O son of Pritha.”  Here, Shree Krishna confirms that the worshippers of the formless also reach Him.  Since their choice is to unite with the attributeless manifestation of the Supreme Absolute Truth, God meets them as the unmanifest, all-pervading Brahman.

Astrological Analysis

Srila prabhupad Decoding Bhakti Yoga as per nadi astrology in Acharya Srila Prabhupada birth chart

Let me take the chart of Acharya Srila Prabhupada. He was born on September 1, 1896. In most of Nadi literature, time of birth ie., Lagna is not given. Importance is given to Jivakaraka Guru/Jupiter’s placement. There is no Dasa system, instead, we follow the progression of natal Guru/Jupiter every year to the next sign or Rashi. Here no lordships are not taken into consideration but only planetary Karakattwas are important. Planets which are in 2nd,12th,11th,5th,7th and 9th are most important. There are a lot of Karakattwas allotted to each planet. Anyhow for the reader’s information, the time of birth was 4 PM at Kolkata.
Bhakti yoga nadi astrology Srila Prabhupada Image Decoding Bhakti Yoga as per nadi astrology in Acharya Srila Prabhupada birth chart
Now in Acharya’s chart, Jivakaraka Guru was placed in Simha Rashi/Leo sign along with its Lord Surya/Sun and Ketu, the planet of renunciation/Tyagakaraka or Mokshakaraka. So this chart has Jeevatma Moksha Yoga ie., Jiva + Atma + Moksha Yoga a powerful Yoga which is in Simha Rashi which is Dharma Tattwa Rashi. Also please note that both Guru/Jupiter and Ketu are in the Nakshatra of Makha ruled by Kethu itself showing HE was born to renounce the world. Here Ketu will enter the next house of Karka Rashi which is the exaltation sign of Guru which is also a Moksha Tattwa Rashi indicating it was HIS last birth.2nd to these planets are Budha exalted  ( being born in Budha Hora )with Shukra ( Neecha Bhanga ). This clearly indicates he had Vak Siddhi Yoga.He became a big preacher and also a praiser of Lord Krishna. Now see this combination is in Karma Tattwa and in the same direction, we find exalted Chandra/Moon with Kuja/Mars. Please note that HE was born on Tuesday and the Janma Nakshatra was Mrigashira which was again ruled by Kuja/Mars. So Kuja is powerful in His chart.
Jivakaraka Guru is with Surya who is in his own house. Surya is the Karaka for father. So Acharya’s father was also a highly religious person along with His mother as Chandra, the Karaka for Mother is exalted who was a worshipper of Lord Krishna. Karma Karaka Shani is exalted in 3rd house from Jiva Karaka Guru + Surya + Ketu.12th from Shani is occupied by exalted Budha with Shukra. So His Karma is related to religious preaching, singing bhajans & spiritual activities related to Lord Krishna. Shani’s placement in Tula Rashi which is a Kaama Rashi but the planet is Karma Tattwa based, so Acharya’s main aim/desire in HIS life was Karma related to religious preaching, writings in praise of Lord Krishna. As Guru + Surya + Ketu are in Simha Rashi, HE was a Vedic scholar, also the planets 2nd to these planets ie., Budha + Shukra + Chandra + Kuja have given HIM what is called as
Bhakti Yoga.
Prabhupada discusses sense gratification morning walk Decoding Bhakti Yoga as per nadi astrology in Acharya Srila Prabhupada birth chart
Buddha in 2nd to Jiva Karaka Guru who is exalted in Kanya Rashi gave Him good education related to finance/economics etc. Also, Rahu who is in 7th to Guru indicates Foreign, so Acharya learnt the English language also and became proficient in that language.
Now 7th sign of Zodiac is Thula Rashi and is occupied by exalted Shani, so 7th house got afflicted. Also its lord Shukra/Venus is debilitated in Kanya/Virgo Rashi. So even though He is married, His married life was not smooth. Even though Shukra/Venus is debilitated, it gets Neechabhanga due to association with exalted Budha.
Jivakaraka Guru transits every Rashi for one year, so it completes 12 years when it comes to the previous house of Jivakaraka Guru/Jupiter in the chart. So when Jivakaraka Guru in his 2nd round when transiting over 9th from Shukra/Venus where Chandra and Kuja are there ie., during his 22nd year, HIS marriage took place. In Nadi literature, Surya has Karakattwa for father as well as for son also. This is mainly due to father is responsible for the issues in his family. So in Acharya’s chart, Surya is in his own place of Simha Rashi/Leo sign which is the most powerful sign along with Guru, so He had 2 male children. But now you see the longitude of Surya. He is in Simha 17 Degs.2’.He is moving to next sign within a few days where he meets Shukra/Venus. So even though He had 2 male children nobody helped Him and they were away from Him.
For renunciation, Ketu is the most important. Now see in 1922, the transits were Guru, Shani and Rahu were in Kanya and Ketu in Meena Rashi activating the natal Ketu which aspects Kataka Rashi through its previous house aspect. Shani, the Karma Karaka has decided what to do with this gentleman. He met with His spiritual Guru during this time. ( All the dates are between August and October as September 1, 1896, is His date of birth.)But He took spiritual initiation in 1933. Please check the transit of planets as on September 1, 1933.
For any spiritual initiation, Ketu’s transit is very important. Please see that during the 2nd round of Rahu-Ketu’s transit, Ketu was transiting over natal Jivakaraka Guru, Surya and especially Ketu. Karma Karaka Shani was retrograde and was in Makara Rashi. So he has to be considered from Dhanu also. Now see the planetary patterns are changed. It is like this: Shani ( R ) + Ketu acting on natal Jivakaraka Guru + Surya, the Atma Karaka and Natal Moksha Karaka Ketu. Even though He has not taken Sanyas, his spiritual activities have started from this period onwards.
Bhakti yoga Decoding Bhakti Yoga as per nadi astrology in Acharya Srila Prabhupada birth chart
So all the spiritual activities, lectures related to Lord Krishna, Bhagavatham etc.started from this period along with publications. But during 1959 ( between August and September ), He took complete Sanyas. See the planetary patterns. Transit Guru was in Vrischika Rashi, Shani ( R ) was in Dhanu and Ketu was in Meena Rashi. So these planetary positions made Him take complete Sanyas.
In 1965, September, when transit Guru was in Mithuna Rashi, Shani ( R ) was in Kumbha Rashi, Rahu was in Vrishbha Rashi and Ketu was in Vrischika Rashi ( But his progressed Guru/Jivakaraka Guru was in Vrishabha Rashi -70th year ), He travelled to the USA as per His Guru’s directives and in 1966, ISKCON – International Krishna Consciousness was started by Him.
On November 14, 1977, His Atma attained Moksha. On that day, Rahu-Kala/Mrityu was transiting over Kanya Rashi respecting its previous house where natal Guru, Surya and Ketu are there. Transit Ketu was in Meena Rashi aspecting its previous house of Kumbha Rashi which is in trine to Tula Rashi where Natal Shani is there. Thus there was the end of Karma and end of Jiva and Atma attained Moksha. Please go through His Punya chart below.
This is my 1st Nadi article written on this auspicious day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami and is completely dedicated to HIM. Without HIM,I am nothing in this Universe.

Lakshmi- The Celestial Goddess

Sacred Indian Symbols Lakshmi- The Celestial Goddess
||Om SriGuruCharanKamalebheyo Namah||
“I bow down at the lotus feet of my master SriGuru Mahavatar”

Pranam to all the beautiful seekers,

I’m happy to write this V-log for you and as you are reading this- I’m sure you are one of the sincere seekers who has reached here to this revelation. Let’s begin.
Since Deepawali is around the corner, so, Today I’ve chosen to write on “Lakshmi” which is misinterpreted through various media channels or by the priests and nonetheless by con-practitioners who con people by selling remedies or rituals.
The most important aspect of any understanding that we want to develop is the knowledge which is majorly lost in today’s time because of which we lost our all understanding of various facts and we are unable to realise the truths behind. The basis of our ancient scientific knowledge is Devnagri (lipi) text script through which the Shruti (sound vibration) is given a form to understand at the level of conscious.
Now, Let’s understand what does the word Lakshmi means. Lakshmi considered to be the Goddess of wealth & fortune, the sustainer energy of the universe, the one who emerged out from the kshir sagar during the churning by devatas and asuras, she who accepted Lord Vishnu as her eternal consort. Lakshmi (लक्ष्मी) comes from the sanskrit word “लक्ष्यामि”- “the giver of direction for goal”; लक्ष्य को आयाम देने वाली.  Now, the word “लक्ष्य” denotes to the destroying (क्षय) of “ल” means the old archetype, the core limiting behavior which is the pure trait of “Muladhar center” that is why the seed syllable “लं” (lam) is chanted to raise the energy from the base as the anuswara (the dot used above the vyanjan ल) is the connecting sound which is the fourth quarter vibration of ॐ called as “im”representing the “state of liberation”.
the legend of samudramanthana dg30 Lakshmi- The Celestial Goddess
So, Lakshmi is the energy which is worshipped by the ones who have destroyed their old primitive limiting beliefs, habits & desires and have one universal goal to evolve from the base to know who they are and want to move forward on the path in a sustained pace. And, a seeker of truth must have sustaining discipline and efforts to reach the final goal of evolution. That is why Lakshmi accepted the sustainer Lord Vishnu to be her eternal consort.
Lakshmi Sukt mentions “पद्मिनि पद्मपत्रे पद्मप्रिये”- She sits on Lotus flower which represents Her evolving out of lotus signifying the rise of energy from the Muladhar and the only goal remains is to know “Who am I?” which arises from its counterpart question- “I dont know who am I?”. That’s why the Goddess can not be approached with a mind which knows everything.  But since, in the delusioned world where money is the only goal behind every action, every desire, every learning; that’s is why the worldly people started to worship Lakshmi as the Goddess of money not as wealth, which is the biggest disbelief. Because, money which is the medium of exchange of resources is a temporary and time bound whereas wealth is “what remains forever and travels with you as accumulation”; that is how money and wealth are different. And, the most dreadful thing is- we lose wealth to grab money, losing all values, truthfulness and accept treachery, hatred and folly in order to just grab money.
Now, Just ask yourself-
1. Do you think, Goddess can be worshipped by anyone who is not interested in the wealth that She is offering and can ask for something which She has no relation with??
as She is offering ultimate wealth and you ask for money which she is not even printing anyway!!
2. Do you think, any worship or recitation or prayer performed by a treacherous can raise the ultimate wealth?
-as She betows Her blessings upon a disciplined truthful seeker and after all cheating in the workplace only paper money might be collected but wealth can never be!!
I hope this will make you think on these questions while you perform Lakshmi worship this year. I will share more on this in the upcoming posts as more is coming up on “Deepawali” in the next V-log.
Do write your comments or questions below.
Guru’s Grace Be Upon You!!

By Swami Sivananda

” When there is neither light nor darkness, neither form nor energy, neither sound nor matter, when there is no manifestation of phenomenal existence, Siva alone exists in Himself. He is timeless, spaceless, birthless, deathless, decayless. He is beyond the pairs of opposites. He is the Impersonal Absolute Brahman. He is untouched by pleasure and pain, good and evil. He cannot be seen by the eyes but He can be realised within the heart through devotion and meditation.”

” Siva is also the Supreme personal God when He is identified with His power. He is then omnipotent, omniscient active God. He dances in supreme joy and creates, sustains and destroys with the rhythm of His dancing movements.
He destroys all bondage, limitation and sorrow of His devotees. He is the giver of Mukti or the final emancipation. He is the universal Self. He is the true Self of all creatures. He is the dweller in the cremation-ground, in the region of the dead, those who are dead to the world.
The Jivas and the world originate from Him, exist in Him, are sustained and rejected by Him and are ultimately merged in Him. He is the support, source and substratum of the whole world. He
is an embodiment of Truth, Beauty, Goodness and Bliss. He is Satyam, Sivam, Subham, Sundaram, Kantam.
He is the God of gods, Deva-Deva. He is the Great Deity—Mahadeva. He is the God of manes (Prajapati). He is the most awe-inspiring and terrifying deity, Rudra, with Trisul or trident in
His hand. He is the most easily pleased (Asutosha). He is accessible to all. Even the untouchable Chandalas and the illiterate rustics can approach Him.
He is the source of all knowledge and wisdom. He is an ideal Yogi and Muni. He is the ideal head of an ideal family with Uma as His devoted wife, Lord Subrahmanya, the brave general of
strength and courage, Lord Ganesa, the remover of all obstacles.

The Sadasiva

At the end of Pralaya, the Supreme Lord thinks of re-creation of the world. He is then known by the name Sadasiva. He is the root-cause of creation. From Sadasiva creation begins. In Manusmriti He is called Svayambhu. Sadasiva is unmanifested, He destroys the Tamas caused by Pralaya and shines as the self-resplendent light bringing forth the five great elements, etc., into being.

The Siva Purana says that Siva is beyond both Prakriti and Purusha. Siva is Mahesvara. He is the witness, well-wisher and nourisher of all beings.
The Gita says:

‘Upadrashtanumanta cha bharta bhokta mahesvarah’.

Mahesvara conducts the work of creation according to His will and pleasure.

The Sruti says,

‘Mayam tu prakritim viddhi mayinam tu mahesvaram’.

Know Prakriti to be Maya and Mahesvara to be the wielder of Maya or Prakriti.

The Sakti of Siva works in two different ways. Mula Prakriti
and Daivi Prakriti. Mula Prakriti is Apara Prakriti from which the five elements and other visible objects and the Antahkarana are evolved. Para Prakriti is Chaitanya Sakti which converts the Apara
Prakriti and gives name and form to it. Apara Prakriti is Avidya and Para Prakriti is Vidya.
The controller and dispenser of these two Prakritis is Lord Siva.
Siva is distinct from Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra.

Lord Siva is the Lord of innumerable crores of Brahmandas or worlds. Isvara united with Maya gives rise to Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra out of Rajas, Sattva and Tamo Gunas respectively, under the command of Lord Siva. Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra are the trinities of the world.

There is no difference among the trinities, Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra. By the command of Mahesvara these three do the creative, preservative and destructive duties of the world. The work of all the three deities is done conjointly. They all have one view and one definite purpose in creating, preserving and destroying the visible universe of names and forms. He who regards the three deities as distinct and different, Siva Purana says, is undoubtedly a devil or evil spirit.
The Lord who is beyond the three Gunas, Mahesvara, has four aspects: Brahma, Kala, Rudra and Vishnu. Siva is the support for all the four. He is the substratum for Sakti also. Siva is distinct from the Rudra included in the trinities. Rudra is really one though according to the different functions He is considered to have eleven different forms.

The first face of Siva does Krida or play, the second does penance, the third destroys or dissolves the world, the fourth protects the people and the fifth, being knowledge, fully covers the entire universe by its power. He is Isana the creator and promoter of all beings, from within. The first form of Siva is the enjoyer of Prakriti as Kshetrajna Purusha. The second is Tatpurusha resting in Sattva-guna, rooted in Bhogya-Prakriti, the Prakriti-enjoyed. The third is Ghora rooted in the eightfold Buddhi like Dharma, etc.

The fourth is Vamadeva rooted in Ahankara and the fifth is Sadyojata, the presiding deity of the mind. The eight forms of Siva are Sarva, Bhava, Rudra, Ugra, Bhima, Pasupati, Isana and Mahadeva, rooted respectively in earth, water, fire, air, ether, Kshetrajna, sun and moon.”

Recite daily Shiri Dattatreya stotram in Sanskrit to destroy any Diseases, sins and enemies

Recite daily Shiri Dattatreya stotram in Sanskrit to destroy any Diseases, sins and enemies

This Stotra is taken from Narad Purana and is written by Shri Narad Rishi. Shri Datta is trimurthi of Tri devas i.e. (first) Brahma then (middle) Vishnu and then at the end Shankara. Narad says Datta is a destroyer of all diseases, sins, all our enemies. This stotra is to be recited with devotion, concentration and faith. The results will be good for life and one will become prosperous, happy, Sinless, healthy and our life become peaceful.

The story of Guru Dattatreya

GURU DATTATREYA is the son of ATRI rishi & mother anusaya. ATRI rishi was born of Lord BRAHMA. He practised severe penance and attained Brahma Jnana. He married anusaya, the daughter of Karjam Prajapati. anusaya as the name indicates, was devoid of the taint of envy. She was a PATIVRATA, an embodiment of chastity who worshipped and considered her husband as GOD.

Her fame and glory spread far and wide, all over the three worlds. Knowing her greatness Indra and other deities feared that they may lose their supremacy and that she may snatch their celestial treasures from their hand. They approached the 3 GOD’s Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, described the greatness of Anusaya to them and entreated them to arrest the ever increasing powers and glory of Anusaya by somehow causing a blemish on her chastity.

They demanded that food be served to them immediately as they could not wait till the return of ATRI rishi.

Anusaya invited them to the dining centre and after offering the proper seats was about to serve food. At that critical juncture, the guests made an unusual request. They said, “Oh! Pious one, we desire that you should disrobe yourself and serve food without wearing any garment. Then only will we eat the food served to us . Please tell us if this is not possible, we will go elsewhere”. Anusaya thought for a while, “ If I refuse to comply with the condition laid down by these guests they may go away without eating food. Atithis(unexpected guests) cannot be turned away, they are an aspect of GOD. My mind is pure. The spiritual strength of my husband will surely save me”. She declared her willingness to serve food as desired by them and went into the kitchen.

She meditated and prayed at the holy feet of her husband. With a motherly feeling towards the guests she went naked into the dining place to start serving the food but, Lo! and behold! By that time the 3 guests were transformed into infants. She fondled the infants and at the sight of these hungry infants lactation welled up from her bosom. She happily breast fed them. When Atri rishi returned home , to his amazement, he found Anusaya fondling 3 new born babies. Anusaya rose and offered the 3 babies at the feet of her husband.

Atri rishi went into a trance and recognized the trio as Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. He reverentially greeted them with folded hands. After witnessing the devotion and purity of couple the 3 infants assumed their real forms and requested the couple to ask for a boon. Atri rishi directed Anusaya to seek a boon from the trinity. Anusaya replied that he might ask them to actually become their children. The trinity granted the boon and left for their celestial abodes in their subtle form and joined their consorts.

Vishnu took the form of Sri Datta, Brahma took the form of Chandra and Mahesh took the form of Durvasa. After some time Chandra and Durvasa sought the permission of Anusaya to leave. Durvasa expressed his desire to go on a pilgrimage and do penance. Chandra put forth his request, “ I will reside in the region of the moon. Therefore you can see me daily. Don’t grieve at our departure. Sri Datta combines in himself the divine qualities of 3 of us.

He will always be with you. Sri Datta is Lord Vishnu himself. Vishnu pervades the whole universe, so you will never experience separation from him. He will live according to your heart’s desire. so permit me to leave”. Taking the permission of their mother Chandra reached the region of the moon and Durvasa left on a long pilgrimage. Sri Datta remained in the hermitage of Anusaya.

The 3 GOD’s agreed to do it. They transformed themselves into mendicants and approached the hermitage of ATRI rishi. They begged for alms. At that time, ATRI rishi had gone to the river to offer his daily ablutions. Anusaya welcomed them with respect and offered them seats. She washed their feet and worshipped them. The guests became impatient and feigned great hunger.

Dattatreya stotram With English translation to cure any Diseases

Narad Krit Shiri Dattatreya stotram from Padma Puran with English translation

Dattatreya stotram With English translation to cure any Diseases

Dattatreya Stotra is dedicated to Hindu God Datta, a joint incarnation of Hindu deities Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Devotees worship Dathathreya as a god in the form of a combination of the great trinity consisting of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He took this form due to Anasuya, the wife of sage Athri.
One story tells that Narada poisoned the minds of Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Parvathy and told them that Anasuya is much greater than them. Incensed by this they sent their lords to Anasuya, who went and requested her to give them alms without wearing any clothes, She made them into babies and combined them into one. This God was Dathathreya.
Another story tells of the trinity being forced to approach Anasuya to save the world from the curse of Nalayani. She did this but asked them to become her babies. These babies were Dathathreya (Vishnu), Durvasa (Shiva) and Chandra(Brahma). Once in a hurry when all these babies were crying together, she took them together and they became one.
There is a small sect of Hindus called Datha panthis in Karnalaka and Maharashtra who worship only Lord Dathathreya. He is picturised as doing meditation along with four Vedas in the form dogs following him.Praying to Dattatreya by chanting this stotra will help to destroy all the enemies, get rid of your sins and will be blessed with great knowledge.

Below is the English lyrics of Dattatreya Stotram translated by Sri PR Ramachander.

Sage have suggested that 9th house lord in 7th house is prefer to give good results generally but some of modern thoughts are views are not in good opinion for its placement because they have suggested that the most auspicious Dharma lord placement is not considered to give good results while having placement in Kaam trikona house. Because it can indicate native might do religious acts only for the sake of fulfillment of his desires not for his faith and duty. In simple terms, it can be conclude as they will be doing business of religion. Native would be having more materialistic approach in comparison with religious causes. If the 9th house lord is strong and it is well placed then it may make native very attached toward religion and religious duties and it is much possible that native could have least interest in kaam related matters. If we conclude, Both the situations are not considered as good regarding fulfilling of four purusharth of man, the primary goals of human being. Apart from this basic placement,  there are some  other yoga in chart regarding the placement of  the 9th house lord in 7th house which might indicates bad fruits for native but for that there should be some involvement of other planet and bhav lord with 9th house lord. Thithi
Our Vedic calendar is based on the Lunar month and Lunar Thithi. One day of the Lunar month is called one Thithi.
One Thithi is time at which Moon moves 12 degree away from the Sun.
Means Tithi or lunar day is a period in which the difference between the longitudes of Moon and Sun changes by exactly 12°.
When Sun and Moon are at same longitude or in the simple same degree that day is called Amavasya.
Now when Moon travels 12° away from Sun then a new Thithi started. It is Pratipada or 1st Tithi. When Moon’s longitude is exactly 24° greater than Sun’s longitude, then second tithi finishes and the third tithi starts. When Moon’s longitude is exactly 36° greater than Sun’s longitude, the third tithi finishes and the fourth tithi starts. And so on……
You can see that Sun-Moon longitude differential will be (12 x n)° after exactly n  tithis. Where n denote the number of Thithi.
A lunar month consists of 30 tithis. Each month is divided into two fortnights  or pakshas
During Sukla/Suddha paksha or the brighter fortnight, Moon is waxing.
When Moon and Sun are at Same degree it is Amavasya. Now Moon is the fastest moving planet so it is going forward and moved away from Sun then Shukla pakhsha is Started. And so during the period when Moon moves 0 to 12° is 1st Thithi or Shukla Pratipada.
During this paksha, Moon is ahead of Sun by an amount that is between 0º and 180º.
At exactly 180° difference between Sun and Moon it is Purnima.
After Purnima new month of Krishna paksha started.
During Krishna/Bahula paksha or the darker fortnight, Moon is waning. During this paksha, Moon is ahead of Sun by an amount that is between 180º and 360º.
Note the point
When Moon is forward 0 to 7th Bhav from Sun it is in Shukla pakhsha.
When Moon is forward 7 to 12th , 12th to 0 Bhav it is Krishna paksha.
Here we consider Sun degree as midpoint.
Look at this chart.
screenshot 2016 08 28 11 48 10 599 Decoding the Panchang : How To analyse your Birth chart via 5 limbs of systemMethod of calculations of Thithi
We can find the tithi running on a day from the longitudes of Sun and Moon using the following procedure.
(1) Find the difference:
(Moon’s longitude – Sun’s longitude).

Note –(Add 360° if the result is negative.)

The result will be between 0° and 360° and will show how advanced  Moon is with respect to Sun.
(2) Divide this result by 12°.
Ignore the remainder and take the quotient.
(3) Add 1 to the quotient.
You get a number from 1 to 30. That will give the index of  the tithi running according to chart.
(4) Refer to Table  and find the name of the tithi. There are 15 tithis and the same tithis repeat in the brigher and darker fortnights.
For example,if we get 22 from above calculation then  it can be seen fromthe table that the 22th tithi out of the 30 tithis is in Krishna paksha and it is Saptami.
So the 22nd tithi is “Krishna Saptami”.
We write the classification of fortnight  (Shukla or Krishna) first and then write tithi name. “Shukla Saptami or Krishna Saptami”
Where Shukla stands for “Saptami” in the brighter fortnight (shukla paksha),
i.e. the 7th tithi. “Krishna Saptami” stands for “Saptami” in the darker fortnight (krishna paksha),
i.e. the 22nd tithi.
Let us say that Moon is at 24°12′ in Gemini. So it’s mean
This is (2 x 30°) + 24° 12′ = 84° 12′ Moon
from the beginning of the zodiac.
Let us say that Sun is at 17°46′ in Scorpio.
This is (7 x 30°) + 17° 46′ = 227° 46′
from the beginning of the zodiac.
Moon – Sun = 84° 12′ – 227° 46′ =  –(143° 34′).
It is negative because Sun is at a higher longitude.
We have to add 360° to it to make it positive.
It becomes 216° 26′.
So this is the advancement of Moon with respect to Sun.
Converting this to a decimal number, we get 216.43°. We have to divide it by 12°.
We find 216.43 ÷ 12 and the quotient is 18.
So 18 tithis are over.
Adding 1 to it, we get 19 and
so the 19th tithi is running. Referring to Table , we see that this is
“Chaturthi” tithi of Krishna paksha (darker fortnight). So it is “Krishna Chaturthi”.
Now we have to know Moon is transit in all 12 sign in 28days.
Sun is transit 1 degree in 1 days.
So At 30 days  Sun is transit 1 sign
So at one Amavasya  to another Amavasya Moon has traveling 12sign + 1sign which is forward by Sun.
Suppose Sun in Aries sign and this time Amavasya so
After around 1month Sun in Taurus so
This time Amavasya in Taurus sign at when Sun and Moon degree is same .
So Amavasya in Taurus sign.
That’s my mean Moon travel 12sign +1 Sign where Sun is actually placed current time.
Now we understand the concept of thithi so we know the effect of thithi.
Pratipada (1st Thithi )
Person born in Pratipada tithi will be doing great deeds or verd hard work. He has good or nobel character or Punya charitra.
Dwitiyia (2nd Thithi)
He will has aura(tej) on face. He has wealth of cattels (in modern day vehicle), power, strength, fame, wealth or money.

Amavasya
He is man who worship anicient and God
Purnima
He brings fame for his kul or vansh. He is very cheerful and happy minded.
Apart from Thithi, Pakhsha has also impact on native. So we know the effect of Pakhsha.
Effect of Paksha
Krishna Paksha or dark half of month —
When a person born in Krishna Paksha he will be making argument regarding own work. He is devoty to his own mother. He is inimical to own relatives.
Shukla Pakhsha or Bright half of month —
When a person born in Shukla pakhsha native will be endowed with enough sons, grandsons and wealth. He is inclination towards religious activities or rightness acts. He is kind and liberal.
Effect Of Lunar Month or Mass
As we know that when Sun and Moon are exactly 180° away from each other then that day is called Purnima. And after that a new month or Mass is starting.
Now we think Sun and Moon conjunction at same degree then this day is Amavasya.
A lunar month means time taken by Moon between 2conjuction.
Means One Amavasya to another Amavasya.
Look at this chart.screenshot 2016 09 01 11 24 13 082 Decoding the Panchang : How To analyse your Birth chart via 5 limbs of system
When Sun and Moon conjunction is happens in Pisces Sign and Full Moon means Sun and Moon away exactly 180° then Moon in Chitra Nakhshatra then that month will be chaitra month.
For example today is Amavasya. And Sun and Moon conjunction happen in Leo sign. Again at the day of Purnima Moon is in Purvabhadra pad so this month is Bhadrapad.
I think you understand the concept of Maas.
Adimas concept —
As you know in our Maas system we found that some years there are two same Maas.
So we know this concept.
A solar year has about 365.2425 days.
Means Time taken by Sun to transit all 12sign and come again to Aries.
For make up this .2425 days we have a keep year in each fourth year.
A lunar year only has about 355 days. So to make up this gap once in every 3 year a extra Lunar month comes.
To decide when this extra Lunar month comes we has formula in our vedic system.
When ever Sun-Moon conjunction coming twice in the same rasi.  Means 2 Amavasya in Same Sign then that month two Lunar month is coming.
For example,
Sun-Moon conjunction took place at 0°23′ in Taurus on May 15, 1999 at 5:35:32 pm (IST) and again at 28°29′ in Taurus on June 14, 1999 at 12:33:27 am (IST).
Sun-Moon conjunction in Taurus sign so according to table it is Jyesta Maas.
So there are 2 conjunction so 2 Jyesta Maas.
One is called “Nija” or Shudha Jeshtha maasa and  the  other is called “Adhika” Jyeshtha maasa.
Nija means real and adhika means
extra. An adhika maasa (extra month) comes once in every 3 years and that
synchronizes the lunar years with solar years. This calendar has been in use in India for millennia.
First part 15 day and last 15 day of this 2 month is called shudh month.
Middle part of month is extra month or adhimass.

Method of calculations of yoga

1) Add the longitudes of Sun and Moon.
2) Now if greater then 360  then remove 360º from the sum
3) Divide the sum by the length of one nakshatra (13°20′ or 800′).
4)Ignore fractions and  take the integer part.
5)Add 1 to it and the result is the index of the yoga running.
6) Now Refer to and find the yoga corresponding to the index.
For Example
Date 21/7/1984
Time 8:10 am
Sun —  4°53’32”  @ Cancer
Moon — 4°15’02” @ Aries
Now we find Yoga at that time.
Sun = 90 + 4°53’32”  = 94° 53′ 32″
Moon = 4° 15′ 02″
So Sum = 98° 68′ 34″ = 99° 08′ 34″
For easy in dividing we convert degrees in Minute
Sum = 99 × 60 + 8 + 34″
= 5940 + 8 + 34″
= 5948′ + 34″
For easy dividing we convert Nakhshatra in minute.
1 Nakhshatra = 13°20′
= 13× 60 + 20 ‘
=  780 + 20 = 800
Now
Divide 5984 by 800
5984÷800 = 7.48
Take 7
Add 1 = 8
